Fees & Deadlines

The cost for Adriatic Writers Conference 2027 is $4,100

What’s included:

·      6 nights (single occupancy) at luxury 5-star Hotel Bellevue on Croatia's island of Lošinj, inclusive of a full breakfast

·      Five intensive two-hour morning writing workshops with your instructor(s)

·      A half-hour one-on-one meeting with your instructor(s)

·      Afternoon Master Classes and panels: author marketing and publicity; publishing; and revision

·      Sparkling wine reception and 3-course welcome dinner with wine pairings at 5-star Boutique Hotel Alhambra’s Michelin-starred Restaurant Alfred Keller.

·      Sparkling wine reception and 3-course wine-paired farewell dinner at Michelin-recommended Restaurant Matsunoki.

Optional Sessions (PRICING TBA):

• Literary agent Abby Walters (David Black Literary Agency) will offer optional individual query letter and 10-page manuscript consultation sessions at an additional cost.

• Professional book coach and internationally bestselling author Lidija Hilje (SLANTING TOWARDS THE SEA) will offer optional developmental editing sessions for participants at an additional cost.

Guest Fees:

The cost for a guest sharing a room is $850 USD, which includes the double occupancy fee and the sparkling wine receptions and welcome and farewell dinners.

Transportation:

Flights/ground transportation are not included, and must be purchased separately by each participant. All other meals not listed above at your own expense.

**We highly recommend booking an overnight in Zagreb on Saturday night to ensure you don’t miss the shared van to Lošinj on Sunday (see FAQs).

A scheduled van will be available for participants to carpool from Zagreb Airport to Lošinj, and from Lošinj to Zagreb Airport. Private transfers can be booked in advance through the hotel.

Deposit & Fees:

Upon acceptance, we will require a 50% nonrefundable deposit. The balance for the conference will be due on March 1, 2027. Deposits and conference fees are nonrefundable.
